Effect of Dust Accumulation on Performance of the Photovoltaic Panels in Different Climate Zones

With the increasing demand for energy globally and need to reduce fossil fuels, paying attention renewable clean sources is necessary. Solar systems are viable among heat electricity generation. In this study, an Off-grid solar system was investigated by considering effect of climate conditions environmental factors such as dust on performance PV panels. Performance efficiency using PVsyst software in four cities Iran (Mashhad, Abadan, Rasht, Sanandaj) with different climates were presented. This study shows that most loss occurs Sanandaj, cold humid climate, which results show 11.19% reduction. On other hand, its hot Abadan has 8.33% due geographical location city vicinity desert areas. a temperate Rasht 2.27% decrease, Mashhad, dry 2.19% decrease yield.
